What is Marble Polish? When is it done?

Those who have marble tables are knowledgeable about the subject. I would like to make a preliminary reminder to those who are not. Removing the scratches on the black marble and bringing it back to the factory shine is one of the most difficult jobs for the companies that make polishing and polishing.

By telling you an application example about this process, we make the polishing and polishing of black marbles no longer a nightmare.

As ABRAMER, which always improves itself on the latest technology and innovation, we share this application with you. In the application, our own imported product ABRAMER POLISH PADS has been used.

Now let’s move on to the implementation stages. We will explain the application in 3 stages. The first stage is the removal of scratches, the second stage is the polishing stage, the third stage is the protective polish application stage.

First of all, let’s start with the first version of the black Bruno Perla Black Marble Table to be applied.

STAGE 1: Removal of scratches with a dry pad:

In order to remove the scratches, dry wiping was performed with ABRAMER DRY PADS using 200, 400 grids.

During this process, scratch removal was done with a hand polishing machine without shaking. If your scratches are not taken with 200 grid numbers, scratching can be done with 100 and 50 grids. However, after each grid, the next grid numbers should be done in order. As a result, the next grid will correct the action with the previous grid. (Dry Pad Grids: 50 – 100 – 200 – 400 – 800 – 1500)

When this operation is done, the color of the table will be gray. Don’t let this worry you. Because the first raw unpolished state of the table was already like this. Now we go to the 2nd stage for the old color and brightness again.

STAGE 2: Polishing the marble table:

After removing the scratches, ABRAMER POLISH PADS were used to restore the color of the table, to make it slippery and then to polish it.

Polishing pads were attached to the hand machine one by one, and a 7-stage wiping and polishing process was carried out, starting from Grid: 300 and up to 10 000. During this process, after each step, the surface of the table should be washed, and after it dries, move on to the other grid number.

(Grids: 300 – 500 – 1000 – 2000 – 3000 – 6000 – 10000)

During this process, the rotation speed of your hand polisher can be kept at a medium level. Our most important number is the 1000 numbered grid here. While doing this trick, you should not switch to the other number without correcting the missing or wavy parts after the table dries. Since the grid numbered 1000 is for polishing and polishing after the grid of 2000 and beyond, it will not cause any fluctuation or color difference on the floor. This is our most important point at the black table.
